This 10 yo boy fell back onto his hand. He has pain around his elbow, which is mildly swollen. He can flex his arm but has pain with pronation/supination
Xray from your triage colleague:

The Orthopedic faculty will provide clinical pearls related to elbow injuries in 1 week.
Thank you!

After some years in Montreal (go Canadiens!), Chicago and Columbus, Ohio, Jennifer returned to the city in which she grew up. She has had the opportunity to travel to wonderful countries including China, Swaziland, and Armenia to both practice and teach pediatrics. She traces her love for international health to her father, on the one hand, whose work as a diplomat took her to Laos and France and to her mother, on the other, who raised her 3 children with a passionate belief in the oneness of all people.
