“Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.” CS Lewis

This quote has stayed with me since high school, when it was used by one of my teachers in a futile attempt to keep her students from acting out while she had to leave the room.  The recent stories in media about what we do when our patients are unable to see or hear us is a call to re-evaluate what we do when we think no one is listening. The truth is, someone is always learning from our behavior.
