Prior to PEM Fellowship, Jared has volunteered with Haitian immigrants in the Dominican Republic, treated patients on a mobile medical unit in New York City, studied abroad in Israel, assisted in granting children’s wishes with Make-A-Wish Foundation, and built houses with Habitat for Humanity. His medical interests include international health, disaster and preparedness, ultrasound, and clinical research. In his spare time, Jared enjoys reading history books, traveling, hanging with family and friends, collecting antique toy soldiers, and napping.
