Author: Sam Zhao

Sam grew up in Richmond, VA and went to school in Charlottesville, VA. During medical school he discovered a passion for medical education and adult learning theories. He took a bite of the Big Apple when he moved to NYC for residency, but all the karaoke bars and dollar pizza slices in the world couldn't keep him from coming back to the mid-Atlantic. Now, he can enjoy once again the thrills of car ownership (and car loans). His research interests include undergraduate medical education, resuscitation, and serious bacterial infections in febrile infants. When he's not at work, he spends the majority of the time running, hiking, and doing anything outdoors with his dog, Titan. He also plays the piano and annoys his friends by cracking awful puns.
